Randall Lewis Seminar: The challenges facing the Riverside County Office of Education
On January 11, 2017, Dr. Judy D. White was appointed the 12th Riverside County Superintendent of Schools. As Superintendent, her continued focus is on delivering a high quality education that invests in all students; developing and sustaining strong collaborative relationships with students, teachers, parents, and the community to produce student academic success.
The challenges facing the Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) are immense and ever-changing. New Curricular standards, financing uncertainties and teacher availability are just a few of the problems facing a superintendent. Overseeing a $223 million budget and over 1,600 employees, Dr. White strives to produce a solid, successful educational outcome for students who speak more than 57 languages. Come hear Dr. Judy White describe the issues RCOE is facing in the immediate future and her goals for Riverside County education.
