AAUW is one of the nation's largest sources of private funding exclusively for educational programs that directly benefit women and girls. Grants of $6,000 are available for an eight-week grant period. While many recipients, especially full-time faculty members, will use the awards during the summer, recipients may use the funds at any time during the fellowship year. An AAUW Americnaa Fellow is expected to pursue her project full time during the funding period.

Awards are $50,000 for two years.
