What is Zoom?

Zoom is a conferencing service used by UCR employees. It can be used for meetings, interviews, or focus groups. Meeting video is displayed on participants' computer screens, while the meeting's audio is available via computer (speakers or headphones) or via telephone. Meeting invitations provide links and telephone numbers that participants use for meeting access.

This page provides an overview for using Zoom. UCR's ITS department provides more information about installing and using Zoom at UCR in a Knowledge Base article.
