Conflict of Commitment:
Researchers may also have external professional commitments that, while important, are so extensive they conflict with their primary teaching, clinical (if relevant), and research obligations at their own institutions (typically referred to as a conflict of commitment). Contact the Office of Academic Personnel at academicpersonnel@ucr.edu for more information.
Policies:
UCR
UCR is required to follow the University of California, Office of the President (UCOP) policies, and is required to review all financial disclosures in connection with research grants, contracts, and gifts, and clinical study protocols. At UCR, the PRO Committee reviews each financial disclosure and reaches a determination of management strategies through elimination, reduction or management of the interests. Listed below are the applicable regulations and university policies that all research conducted at UCR must abide by.
