Conflict of Commitment:
Researchers may have external professional commitments that, while important, are so extensive they conflict with their primary teaching, clinical (if relevant), and research obligations at their own institutions (typically referred to as a conflict of commitment). Contact the Office of Academic Personnel at academicpersonnel@ucr.edu for more information.
Policies:
UCR is required to follow the University of California, Office of the President (UCOP) policies, and is required to review all financial disclosures in connection with research grants, contracts, gifts, and clinical study protocols. At UCR, the PRO Committee reviews each financial disclosure and reaches a determination of strategies through elimination, reduction or management of the interests.
